SKODA has extended its motorsport-inspired, top-of-the-range Monte Carlo trim level to its Scala and Kamiq ranges.

Named in celebration of the Czech maker's past glories in the legendary Monte Carlo rally, both models are equipped with dynamic design touches inside and out.

Amongst the features shared by both models are gloss black detailing along with 18-inch black Vega alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, full LED head and tail-lights and a special sports front bumper. At the rear, there is a black diffuser and black boot lettering. The Scala also gets a black rear spoiler.

Inside there are sports seats with red highlights, a sports steering wheel and aluminium pedals, ambient lighting in red, a black roof lining and door sills with Kamiq lettering, a digital instrument cluster and an Amundsen infotainment system with 9.2-inch display.

Both come with a choice of two petrol engines - a 1.0 TSI 115PS and 1.5 TSI 150PS - both of which can be specified with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG gearbox as an option.

Positioned at the top of the range, Scala Monte Carlo models are priced between £22,680 and £25,350 while the Kamiq Monte Carlo costs from £23,305 to £25,995. First deliveries are expected in Spring.
