SEAT is introducing range topping FR and FR Sport models to its Tarraco large SUV line up.

The new versions are priced from £32,680 for FR versions with the Sport grade coming in from £33,430.

The additions bring the number of trim levels on offer in the Tarraco range to six with the FR Sport with four-wheel-drive, a 190ps diesel engine and automatic transmission topping out from £39,820.

The Spanish car brand says the expansion of the range completes the Tarraco line up which was first launched in the UK last year.

FR trim adds extra styling including a more aggressive body kit including 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, sports bumpers front and rear and black finishes to the mouldings, door mirrors roof rails.

Inside there are front sports seats with the driver's position electrically adjustable.

The FR Sport version gets 20-inch wheels and comes with black leather upholstery inside. It also features rear and top-view cameras to enhance safety, heated seats all-round and heated washer nozzles as part of a winter pack.

Both have automatic full LED headlamps, SEAT's Digital Cockpit - which includes the 10.25-inch digital driver binnacle and eight-inch full-colour infotainment touchscreen including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a USB socket in all three rows of seats.

The FR and FR Sport trims are available with the Tarraco's full range of engines - 1.5 and 2.0-litre petrols and 2.0-litre diesels - and complete the line-up alongside the existing SE, SE Technology, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux specifications.
