FORD is expanding its Puma compact SUV line up with the addition of new powertrains and equipment to the range.
A seven-speed dual clutch transmission is being introduced on 125ps 1.0-litre EcoBoost variants while a new high specification ST-Line X Vignale is being launched.
With the semi-automatic DCT box the Puma is said to be capable of 45.6mpg with emissions of 138g/km and the set up is available on models costing from £22,945.
The new Vignale model is priced from £25,240 and is based on the Puma ST-Line X but comes with 18-inch alloys, a satin finish aluminium upper grille, an ebony coloured lower grille and a body-coloured rear bumper.
Standard equipment on the Vignale includes leather upholstery, LED headlights, heated front seats and steering wheel and the Ford KeyFree system.
The new models follow Ford's announcement that it will be introducing a performance-oriented Puma ST model later in the year.
