KIA is updating its small car range with new versions of the Picanto and Rio.
Prices now start from £10,745 for the Picanto and £13,395 for the larger Rio.
The new Picanto comes with option of an automated manual transmission and two new 1.0-litre petrol engines which are designed to be more fuel efficient.
Mild-hybrid powertrains are also now available on higher grade versions of the Rio which are priced from £18,895.
Styling changes and more safety equipment as well as greater connectivity also feature on the revised models.
Fuel economy on the Picanto is now up to a claimed 58.9mpg with emissions of 110g/km while the Rio is rated at 52.3 to the gallon at best with a best CO2 figure of 122g/km.
A 1.25-litre petrol engine is also being introduced on the base Rio models which can average up to 49.6mpg (128g/km) and with 83bhp on tap has a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 12.6 seconds with a maximum of 108mph.
The two line ups now top out at £15,795 for a Picanto GT-Line S 1.0 T-GDi 99bhp five-speed manual with stop and go and £20,895 for a Rio GT-Line S 1.0 T-GDi 48V 118bhp seven-speed DCT ISG.
