A SPECIAL edition of the hot Ford Fiesta ST is being released with suspension tweaks and other changes to give the car added handling.

The three-door model is priced from £27,075 and is aimed at performance driving enthusiasts.

It Is available in a special bule paint job and only 300 versions will be coming to the UK.

The car has an additional sport mode button fitted to the steering wheel and also comes with carbon-fibre effect in the trim as well as ST-protector puddle lamps.

Like the Fiesta ST it is powered by a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine developing 200ps which gives the car a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 143mph. Fuel economy is rated at 42.8mpg with CO2 emissions of 149g/km.

The ST Edition has an adjustable coilover suspension system that enables customisation of cornering, road-holding and ride-height characteristics.

The Edition model also continues to offer the Fiesta ST's Normal, Sport and Track Selectable Drive Modes, with Sport mode now able to be activated directly from a dedicated button on the steering wheel.

Launch Control is also available and a switchable three-mode electronic stability control system is standard.
