TOYOTA is dressing up its popular C-HR SUV with a GR Sport variant that has been inspired by the company's Gazoo Racing team.

The C-HR GR Sport is priced from £31,395 and is available with 1.8 and 2.0-litre hybrid powertrains. The more powerful model costs from £33,015.

Exterior styling details, including a black finish for the headlight and fog light housings, central bumper section and the background to the Toyota emblem.

There's also a more prominent front spoiler, black door mouldings and wheel arch surrounds, dark-tinted LED headlights and a dark chrome finish for the grille.

At the rear, there is a black spoiler, black reflector surrounds, an under-bumper trim and GR badging.

The black theme continues in the cabin with a new fabric upholstery for the sports front seats, with a woven centre stripe in GR Sport colours.

The same design is also available in black Alcantara as an option, together with power adjustment for the front seats.

There are also GR-branded scuff plates and perforated leather steering wheel trim with red stitching. A contrasting silver deco line extends across the instrument panel and the stop/start button carries the GR Sport red.

All C-HR models have the Toyota Safety Sense system which includes lane trace assist and extends the pre-collision system's functionality to include cyclist detection in daylight driving.
