WITH 635bhp on tap, a top speed of 189mph and a 0-60mph sprint time of less than three seconds, the new BMW M5 CS is the most powerful production car in the history of the Munich-based company.

But it's not just about the supercar-style performance, for this flagship, special edition newcomer is even more luxurious and considerably more exclusive than other M5 models - especially given the £140,780 price tag.

The M5 CS is both a luxurious saloon and a high-performance sports car with room for four. Theinterior layout - comprising four individual M Carbon bucket-style seats - is exclusive to the special-edition model.

It builds on the established presence of the BMW M3 CS, BMWM4CS and BMW M2 CS. As the flagship model in therange, the BMW M5 CS represents the highest rung of the BMW M ladder and sets new standards, combining standout performance attributes with an exclusive and luxurious appearance.

Power is provided by a 4.4-litre V8 engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. Its' 635hp is 10hp more than in the BMW M5 Competition and it features bespoke chassis tuning and the M xDrive system, with a centralised intelligent control approach for the Active M Differential.

Under the skin, the M5 Competition's chassis has been further developed with ride height lowered by seven-millimetres while the shock absorbers have been developed from the units fitted to theBMW M8 Gran Coupe.

Deliveries to a very lucky few will begin in the spring.
