CITROEN's new C3 Aircross SUV, which is due to arrive in British showrooms in June will cost from £17,320 to £22,670 and will come with a revised range of trim levels.

The new model features a new front-end design inspired by the company's CXPERIENCE concept car - and mirrors the look first introduced on the latest C3 last year.

The new trim levels are dubbed C-Series, Shine and Shine Plus with each trim level getting its own ‘colour pack' with a wide variety of personalisation options.

The entry-level C-Series model features diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels, black roof bars and a regal red colour pack with a monotone roof, as standard. Automatic eco-LED headlights and LED daytime running lights combine with separate fog lamps at the front of the car. At the rear, parking sensors also feature as standard.

Advanced technology includes a six-speaker infotainment system with DAB radio and Bluetooth® connectivity, all controlled via a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto compatibility.

Shine versions come with a black exterior colour pack while additional features include a pull-out boot floor and enhanced connectivity via a larger nine-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation system and additional safety tech including active safety brake with forward collision alert.

The top of the range Shine Plus specification includes a white colour pack with a black bi-tone roof, larger 17-inch alloy wheels and an upgraded interior which adds advanced comfort seats, a gloss black centre console and satin chrome trim. Shine Plus spec also provides front parking sensors and a rear vision camera, keyless entry and start, a flat-folding front passenger seat and sliding 60/40 split rear bench.

On the safety front all models of the new C3 Aircross come as standard with lane departure warning, traffic sign and speed limit recognition, and cruise control with speed limiter.

All three trim levels are available with a choice of two petrol engines with either six-speed manual or auto transmissions while a diesel power unit remains an option, albeit only with the manual gearbox.
