SEAT expands Leon

SEAT is further expanding its top-selling Leon line up with a 2.0-litre 190ps semi-automatic joining the hatchback range and a 2.0-litre diesel estate model.

The new versions will be priced from £28,810 for the hatch and £24,415 for the estate.

With a 0 to 62 acceleration time of 7.4 seconds, the hatch will be available in FR, FR Sport, XCELLENCE and XCELLENCE Lux trims while the diesel estate - which is rated at 65.7mpg - will come in SE and SE Dynamic specification.

The hatch, with its DSG gearbox, has an official fuel consumption figure of 42.2mpg, emissions of 151g/km and a top speed of 144mph.

Performance figures for the Leon Estate 2.0 TDI are a 0-62mph time of 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 124mph with CO2emissions from 114g/km.

FR trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, ambient lighting, SEAT's drive profile selection, rain sensing wipers, Full Link smartphone integration and dark tinted rear windows as standard while FR Sport trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and microsuede upholstery.

The more luxurious XCELLENCE trim includes electric folding door mirrors, keyless entry, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels.

XCELLENCE Lux adds leather upholstery, dynamic road sign display, high beam assist and predictive and adaptive cruise control.
