THE latest in a long line of Mazda MX-5 special editions is due to arrive in UK showrooms this month - but buyers looking for an extra-special version of the iconic two seater will need to move quickly.

For only 160 examples of the new, £27, 615 MX-5 Sport Venture convertible are being made available - each of them finished in Deep Crystal Blue Mica paint matched to a grey fabric hood and silver door mirror trims.

Based on the 1.5-litre 132ps Sport Convertible, the Sport Venture also features Light Stone Nappa leather and silver roll hoop trims and 16-inch bright alloy wheels.

In its 30 year-plus history there have been countless special edition MX-5 models and the Sport Venture name pays homage to the 2014 third-generation Sport Venture, which was available with a similar paint and trim finish.
