THE new SUV-styled version of the Toyota Yaris will be priced from £22,515 when it arrives in the UK.
The seven model line up is expected to be on the road in September and prices will top out from £30,545 for an all-wheel-drive Premiere Edition model.
Based on the same platform Toyota uses for the regular Yaris - the current European Car of the Year - the Cross has pumped-up styling, extra body cladding and a raised ride height.
All versions come with full smartphone compatibility and Toyota's latest multimedia system as well as the company's ‘safety sense' package which is designed to recognise accident hazards.
The package includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian and cyclist recognition and emergency steering assist; full-range intelligent adaptive cruise control; lane departure alert and lane trace assist; road sign assist; and automatic high beam.
The Yaris Cross also come with eCall which can automatically summon emergency services assistance in the event of a serious impact.
All-wheel-drive is offered on higher grade versions and all are powered by Toyota's latest hybrid system with a 1.5-litre, 114bhp petrol engine.
