AN upgraded version of the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is now on sale and priced from £17,320 - an increase of just a few hundred pounds over the outgoing model.

Available in three trim levels, the new car comes with a number of interior changes which include a new central closed storage area in between the front seats, a new-look handbrake, a larger central console and a redesigned cup-holder design.

Restyled at the front with LED headlights now standard across the range, the latest C3 Aircross also gets Citroen's comfort seat technology and a bigger touchscreen which now measures nine inches.

The seven model range will now top out from £23,080 for a 1.2-litre 130bhp automatic Shine Plus model while diesels will be priced from £21,060 in Shine trim.

A new entry level C Series range kicks off the line up and is available only with a 110bhp manual 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine.

All models now come with alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, cruise control, lane departure alerts and are fully smartphone compatible.

Shine grade cars have the larger touchscreen as well as a pull out boot floor while Shine Plus adds keyless entry, the Advanced Comfort seats, front parking sensors and a reversing camera.
