AN SUV coupe will be joining the Volkswagen line up with the reveal of the new Taigo medium sized crossover model.
The car - which is a production ready concept and not yet available to buy - is a front-wheel-drive five seater that is 4.26 metres long.
As such the Taigo is slightly bigger than VW's current baby SUV the T-Cross and it sits on the same MQB platform.
The car is similar to the Nivus model VW already sells in Brazil and the Taigo is due for release in Europe later in the year.
Inside, it is fitted with VW's latest infotainment equipment which allows access to streaming services as well as other app based systems.
The Taigo is likely to cost from around £22,000 when it is released and will be available either with a 1.0-litre petrol engine developing 94bhp or a more powerful 148bhp 1.5-litre unit.
