RENAULT has taken an ancient name for Paris for a limited edition and very well equipped version of its Clio hatchback, with UK sales limited to 300.

The Clio Lutecia Limited Edition costs from £20,200 and sits above the S Edition in the Clio range and takes some features from the flagship R.S. Line model.

Powered by a 1.0 litre, 90 horsepower petrol engine, the Lutecia version manages an official 53.3mpg in tests and CO2 emissions of 119g/km.

Diamond black metallic paint is set off by contrasting brass detailing, while inside you'll find a heated leather steering wheel, heated seats, Blind Spot Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Detector, 17-inch Viva Stella alloy wheels with brass detailing and modal fabric upholstery made of Tencel fibre with brass piping.

In addition to the equipment of the S Edition, it adds extra tinted windows, 9.3-inch EASY LINK touchscreen with satellite navigation and shark fin radio antenna.

There's more! The Lutecia Limited Edition also includes climate control, MULTI-SENSE including ambient lighting and selectable driving modes, front parking sensors and rear-view camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electric windows and 7-inch TFT driver infotainment display.
