A HIGH grade R-Dynamic Black trim level is being added to the Jaguar F-Pace SUV line up with prices starting from £46,765.

Sitting above the R-Dynamic grade the new specification will be available on all six mainstream F-Pace models from the 163ps mild hybrid four-cylinder diesel to the 404ps plug-in hybrid petrol.

The Black models come with Jaguar's Black Pack and include gloss black mirror caps, 20-inch gloss black wheels, a fixed panoramic roof, privacy glass and gloss black roof rails.

Jaguar is also introducing more technology across the F-Pace range with smart features which further improve interior air quality and new driver assistance systems which provide greater levels of support.

Connectivity is also due for an update later in the year with the addition, via software-over-the-air updates, of wireless Apple CarPlay. Wireless Android Auto will become available at the same time.

Adaptive cruise control with steering assist is to be offered across the range as are self-sealing tyres to complement the car's tyre repair system. The tyres are being offered on 19-inch, 20-inch and 21-inch wheel sizes.

The F-Pace range now starts from £40,675 and tops out at £64,585 for plug-in hybrid P400e models.

The flagship 550ps F-Pace SVR is also being made available with Black Pack features which include gloss black finishes to the grille surround, bonnet louvres, front bumper apertures, sill trims and rear valance as well as the rear badges. The SVR costs from £78,165.
