A COUPE version of the Skoda Enyaq EV has been announced and the all-electric car will be available in both rear and all-wheel-drive configurations.

Three power options will be offered - iV 60, iV80 and iV80X - and the Enyaq Coupe iV has a maximum range of up to 332 miles.

The coupe is four millimetres longer than the standard Enyaq SUV at 4.653 metres long and has a boot of 570 litres which is 15 litres smaller.

The all-wheel-drive Enyaq Coupé iV 80x is equipped with a larger battery which also powers a second 80-kW electric motor on the front axle.

With a sloping rear end and sitting on alloys of up to 21-inches, the coupe will become the flagship of the Enyaq range with a panoramic sunroof fitted as standard.

Prices are expected to be in the region of £40,000 when the car is released around springtime in 2022.

The Enyaq CoupeiV can be charged at public DC fast-charging stations with an output of up to 125kW and a universal charger with interchangeable connector plugs is available as an optional extra.
