FRENCH premium brand DS has revealed prices and specification for its new DS 4 hatchback.
Three differing models will be available with Performance Line and Cross variants joining the standard car which will be priced from £25,350.
Performance Line versions will cost from £28,750 while the more-SUV oriented Cross will start from £31,350.
The DS 4 is available with an E-TENSE 225 plug-in hybrid powertrain with CO2emissions from 34g/km and a choice of three PureTech petrol engines, a PureTech130, PureTech180 and PureTech225, and a BlueHDi 130 diesel.
All powertrains are mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Technology includes the new DS Iris system - a full HD touchscreen infotainment system supported by over-the-air updates and natural voice recognition.
To make the system more intuitive a small, additional touchscreen is fitted below the car's centre console with customisable shortcuts and handwriting recognition while a wide-view head-up display projects key information onto the windscreen.
The car is also fitted with a semi-autonomous drive mode and a night vision system which uses an infrared camera to project potential hazards into the driver's display.
The DS 4 will be available in three trim levels with the range topping out in Rivoli specification priced from £35,150.
Performance Line versions have a sportier style with a gloss black finish for the front grille and other elements of the body while the DS 4 Cross features side skirts, front and rear skid plates and black bumpers.
DS says the first models will be on the road by the end of the year.
