LAND Rover is introducing a flagship special edition of the Discovery and updating the Defender with a new diesel engine and more equipment.
The Metropolitan Edition will sit at the top of the Discovery range and will be priced from £73,250.
It comes with a choice of electrified powertrains in the form of a D300 diesel model or a P360 petrol variant with both featuring 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
Alongside the arrival of the Metropolitan Edition, the Discovery Commercial is also now available in R-Dynamic specification for the first time with the model powered by a D300 MHEV engine.
Changes to the Defender line up see the 90 Hard Top now available with a D250 straight-six diesel engine in both standard and SE trim levels with the latter adding LED headlights, keyless entry and blind spot alerts.

A larger 11.4-inch infotainment screen is being fitted across the Defender range while X-Dynamic models now features a black contrast roof as standard.
Other upgrades see Secure Tracker Pro fitted as standard totoP400e, P400, X and V8 derivatives which is Thatcham S5 compliant. All Defenders continue to feature Ultra Widebandsecurity technology to prevent relay theft.
