KIA is releasing a special edition of its Picanto supermini as it also launches a new Sportage SUV with a special introductory offer.

The Picanto Shadow, which is finished in a grey metallic paint, is priced from £13,845 while the latest Sportage is to be priced from £26,745 with a limited run of Launch Edition models costing from £29,995.

The special edition Picanto costs £895 than Kia's 2 grade model on which it is based and comes with 15-inch alloys, privacy glass, LED running lights and front fog lamps while inside equipment includes an eight-inch touchscreen with full smartphone connectivity, a reversing camera and faux leather upholstery.

Meanwhile, the new Sportage Launch Edition is being made available with a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine backed up with two years free servicing.

The launch models are based on 3 grade Sportages which feature dual 12.3-inch displays, heated front and rear outer seats and a heated steering wheel among their standard features.

The Korean car maker is also offering a 3.9 per cent APR deal on certain finance options for the entire Sportage line up including the plug-in hybrid which is due for launch in spring 2022.
