CITROEN is expanding its all-electric e-Berlingo MPV range with the introduction of seven-seat models in top specification Flair XTR trim.

The new model is priced from £32,995 and joins the current e-Berlingo line up as the range topper.

In the longer seven-seat XL format it is some 35cm longer than five-seat models.

Previously the longer body was available only on Feel trim versions priced from £30,495 after the Government plug-in grant.

The Flair XTR XL e-Berlingo has a range of up to 174 miles and can be recharged to 80 per cent capacity from fast charges in 30 minutes.

Citroen has recently made its MPV range electric only and compared to the shorter wheelbase models the seven-seat e-Berlingo has 500-litres more load space with the rear seats folded and a load length of more than three metres.

Flair XTR trim comes with Airbump exterior styling, an eight-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth conncetivity, and a DAB radio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

All versions also come with a range of safety and driver assistance systems as part of the Citroën's Safety Pack which includes active lane keeping assist, active safety brake, cruise control and speed limiter, speed limit recognition and recommendation and driver attention alert.

They are also fitted with a 10-inch digital driver's instrument display, remote temperature pre-conditioning, an Electrochrome rear view mirror, satellite navigation, reversing camera, Intelligent Beam Headlights, an opening tailgate window and dual zone climate control.
