SKODA has announced prices and specification for its new-look Karoq which is due for release in the spring.
The new medium sized SUV comes with a range of design changes, more equipment and upgraded powertrains.
It will be priced from £25,950 for an entry level 1.0-litre TSI SE Drive model with the line up topping out from £37,760 for a 2.0-litre TDI 150ps DSG 4x4.version in SportLine trim.
SE Drive models now feature LED headlights as standard as well as rear LED, dynamic indicators, a colour multifunction trip computer and an infotainment system with Smartlink and wireless Apple CarPlay and rear parking sensors.
Mid-grade SE L Karoqs will be priced from £27,785 and build on the SE Drive specification with 18-inch alloys, chrome roof rails and window surround, a winter pack which includes a heated steering wheel and front seats, heated windscreen washer nozzles and headlight washers.
Keyless entry, a start/stop system and an extended rear spoiler as well as a rear view camera and front parking sensors are also standard.
The range topping Karoq SportLine comes with full LED Matrix headlights, a panoramic sunroof, an electrically operated boot as well as the winter and parking packs.
From launch the Karoq will be available with four engine options - two petrol and two diesel.
The petrol range consists of a 1.0 TSI unit that develops 110ps and a 1.5 TSI motor that produces 150ps. The latter can be specified with a seven-speed DSG transmission.
The diesel line-up features a 2.0 TDI with outputs of 116ps and 150ps. As with the petrol range, the higher powered model can be had with a seven-speed DSG.
The 2.0 TDI can also be specified with four-wheel-drive and all engines have been updated to improve efficiency.
