AUDI is increasing the sportiness of the Audi RS 4 Avant and RS 5 with a new competition package that both sharpens the cars' appearance and driving experience.

With optional coilover suspension, the competition package includes reduced insulation between the engine compartment and the interior creating more sound inside.

The cars' biturbo V6 engine develops 450ps the RS 4 Avant has a 0 to 62mph sprint time of 3.9 seconds and the RS 5 is fractionally quicker at 3.8 seconds.

The ride height is 10mm lower than standard RS versions which can be further reduced by the driver by another 10mm.

Maximum speed of both cars is just shy of 182mph.

Trim extras on the two models include matte black exhausts, piano black side seat panels and gloss black finishes for the Audi ring badges front and rear.

UK prices are still to be announced.
