THE Nissan Qashqai has been updated with extra equipment and exterior changes in line with the car maker's latest product branding.

Effective immediately the Qashqai will adopt Nissan's new corporate identity, with the manufacturer's recently introduced new logo appearing on the front and back of the vehicle, wheel caps and the centre of the steering wheel.

The rear bumper changes in colour, going from light grey to a darker shade, while LED front fog lights will become standard on top-of-the-range Tekna+ trim level models.

Inside, a 12.3-inch navigation screen will be fitted as standard from N-Connecta trim level and above - an increase in size of 3.3 inches over the current version.

The N-Connecta grade has had both its 12.3-inch TFT screen and the Glass Roof Pack - a £650 extra - reintroduced.

Changes have also been made to the Nissan Connect Service fitted to the car which now include a digital owner's manual, identification with Nissan's i-Key, voice control, an Alexa personal assistant and parking information.

Pricing starts from £25,505 in Visia trim, £28,105 in Acenta Premium, £30,275 for N-Connecta models with Tekna grade cars costing from £32,815 and £36,325 in top specification Tekna+ trim.
