FRENCH upmarket auto brand DS has revised its DS 3 crossover model with a series of updates including a completely new motor on electric versions.
Dropping the Crossback name as DS has already done with the larger DS 7, the new DS 3 comes with a refreshed frontal design including LED headlights as standard, a redesigned grille and a new appearance for the daytime running lights.
The rear has also been refined with the lights and boot emphasised with a lacquered black strip with a different style for the badging.
As well as petrol and diesel powertrains, the pure electric version has been given a new motor which develops 155hp and has a range now up to 250 miles.
An 80 per cent recharge can be done in 25 minutes and a full recharge takes five hours.
Inside, the car has a redesigned steering wheel and a new look to the instrument panel as well as gearshift paddles for automatic versions.
A 10.3-inch high definition central screen is now offered as standard, with the new DS IRIS SYSTEM available on Performance Line+, Rivoli and Opera models.
UK pricing is still to be announced but are expected to see the car start from around £26,000 for petrol models rising to some £37,000 for the E-Tense electric car.
