THE new DS 7 large SUV from the French premium brand will cost from £36,760 when it arrives in the UK this November.

Five trim levels and a range of power options will be available with top specification Opera Premiere E-Tense models priced from £62,940.

With a new look including sharper lines and slimmer LED headlamps, the DS 7 will be available with plug-in hybrid powertrains including E-Tense 225, E-Tense 4x4 300 and E-Tense 4x4 360 variants.

E-Tense 225 models are capable of up to 250mpg with up to 43 miles of electric only range while the E-Tense 4x4 300 is capable of 249mpg with 42 miles of electric only range.

The E-Tense 4x4 360 variants are capable of 161mpg) and 36 miles of electric only range and all E-Tense models can be charged using a 7.4kW domestic wall box in 1hr 45mins.

Entry level Performance Line, Performance Line+ and Rivoli variants are also available with a BlueHDi diesel engine mated to an automatic transmission with prices running from £36.760 to £40,660.

The E-Tense 225 costs from £44,190 while the 4x4 models are available in Performance Line+ specification onwards from £51,890.

All models come with sat nav and a new-look 12-inch HD touchscreen, while the instrument cluster comes with DS's 12.3-inch digital display.

There are also an array of safety aids including an emergency braking system, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, extended traffic sign recognition and driver attention alert.

Performance Line+ models are priced from £39,460 and the specification adds black roof rails as well as other features such as a 180 degree reversing camera, front parking sensors and heated windscreen as well as heated electrically adjustable front seats and a premium leather steering wheel.

Rivoli versions come with extra body trim and chrome badges as well as Nappa leather upholstery and massaging front seats while Opera models have a Watchstrap pattern for the upholstery as well as an electric tailgate, electric glass panoramic sunroof, wireless charging for a smartphone and two USB-C ports in the front.

Rivoli models are priced from £40,66- while Opera grade starts from £51,540.

Opera Premiere DS7s feature a 360 degree reversing camera, night vision, a handsfree tailgate and an upgraded HiFi system among their standard manifest.
