SUZUKI has unveiled a concept model which will mark its first full-scale venture into the electric vehicle marketplace in a couple of years' time.

The world premiere of the Suzuki eVX concept took place at Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi, India where company president Toshihiro Suzuki hailed it as: "â¦our first global strategic EV. At the Suzuki Group, addressing global warming is a priority," he added.

The eVX is an all-electric concept SUV which is scheduled to be launched by 2025, although there is no immediate indication as to when, or if, it will come to the UK. It will feature a 60kWh battery and Suzuki claims a range of over 340 miles, although, oddly, this is measured using Indian testing standards and would likely be less for models sold in the UK and Europe.
