UPDATED Mercedes-Benz GLS and the flagship Mercedes-Maybach GLS have been announced with upgraded standard equipment and extra options.
The seven-seat SUVs will be available from the end of October and come with a fresh face incorporating a new-look grille and under bumper while at the rear the tail lights have been redesigned.
There are also improvements to the MBUX technology system with new looks to the onboard displays including a ‘transparent' bonnet while driving off-road and a 360 degree camera.
On the Maybach model, a 23-inch forged wheel is now an option while inside a new standard feature is ambient lighting with an animated projection of the MercedesâMaybach pattern.
Trim changes see the centre sections of the seat surfaces and backrests coming with a diamond-pattern quilting with specific perforations.
Prices are still to be announced but the line up is expected to cost from around £100,000.
