THE Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S performance SUV is getting a rework with a new front appearance, added technology and LED lamps being used for the whole lighting set up.
The car also gets body colour painted wheel arch extensions, 21-inch wheels as standard as well as the latest MBUX infotainment system.
The facelift follows similar treatment for the Mercedes GLA.
With 421ps coming from its 2.0-litre turbo engine it has a 0 to 62mph time of 4.3 seconds and a maximum of 168mph.
The GLA 45 S is fitted with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission and is all-wheel drive.
The rear axle gearbox features two electronically controlled multi-plate clutches, each of which is connected to a drive shaft on the rear axle. This design means that the engine power is not only distributed variably between the front and rear axles, but also selectively between the left and right rear wheels.
Prices are still to be announced but are expected to be in the region of £60,000-plus.
