ABARTH and Stellantis Motorsport have announced a new collaboration that aims to set a new standard in the electric automotive world with the birth of the most powerful Abarth ever with 240hp.

The partnership is a tribute to Abarth's racing history and the project with the all-electric Abarth 600e is based on a new eCMP platform, now renamed Perfo-eCMP.

Details are being kept closely guarded but the new Abarth is equipped with a special limited slip differential which was developed for the specific needs of a BEV powertrain and accommodated to its dynamic characteristics.

The result is the most powerful Abarth ever and the car has an advanced braking system, which offers more power and stability thanks to bigger brake discs and larger disc surfaces.

Developed from experience in Formula E competitions, new tyres ensure maximum grip and with a softer compound tread on the exterior and centre area, they provide extra grip when cornering and improved range,

Stellantis Motorsport holds 27 FIA WRC manufacturers' titles including 11 Dakar wins, seven Le Mans victories, and is best known for its involvement in the E Formula World Championship with DS and Maserati, for the World Endurance Championship with Peugeot and for Rally Customer Racing with the Citroen C3 Rally2 and Peugeot 208 Rally4.
