SPORTIER styling is coming to the all-electric version of the new Hyundai Kona with the launch of N Line models.

It will be the first time Hyundai has offered the specification on its EVs and the new car comes with a different design for the bumpers, side skirts and 19-inch wheels as well as N-Line badging.

Inside there are sports seats with the N Line logo and red stitching - a colour which is also used in details on the steering wheel and dashboard.

Prices for the N Line start from £40,395 while higher specification N Line S versions will cost from £43,095 which has Alcantara and leather heated and ventilated seats, an upgraded audio system and additional safety equipment such as blind spot collision avoidance and a surround view monitor.

The N Line S version also gets daytime running lights stretching the width of the car below the bonnet and full projection LED headlights.

Hyundai says production is cheduled to begin in February 2024 with sales starting in the spring.

The N Line treatment now extends to every powertrain variant of the new Kona which includes combustion engine, hybrid or all-electric models.

N Line trim is purely cosmetic and the performance of the cars regardless of engine is unchanged.
