Peugeot E-3008, 2024, Red Dot Award winner

PEUGEOT has been presented with a Red Dot Award for outstanding design with its new E-3008 impressing an international expert panel of 39 judges in the Product Design category of the honours.

The predecessor of the Peugeot 3008 also received the Red Dot Award in 2017 and overall it is the ninth time that Peugeot has received the design award.

Matthias Hossann, design director at Peugeot, said: "I am delighted that the new design of the Peugeot E-3008 has been recognised with the Red Dot Design Award. The Peugeot E-3008 combines the ingenuity and tenacity of Peugeot and epitomises all of our brand values.

"Reinventing the Peugeot 3008 meant modernising its image and harmonising dynamic design and optimum efficiency using a fastback silhouette. This award proves that our team's creativity has paid off."

The Peugeot E-3008 stands out with a new, modern and efficient exterior design in which chrome components have been removed in favour of painted ones - grey on the front and rear bumper, black on the mirror caps and lower section.

A new front end was designed for the Peugeot E-3008, which includes a complete redesign of the headlights and radiator grille centred around the Peugeot emblem.

Compact headlights with new Pixel LED technology, which are standard for GT specification models, are housed in a slim trim and automatically adjust the light beam to the road conditions, ensuring optimum visibility.

The new Peugeot E-3008 is the first model from the brand to be equipped with the new Panorama i-Cockpit in which a floating 21-inch HD curved panoramic display creates a new visual effect on board and integrates the digital instrument cluster and the large central touchscreen.

In the 2024 Red Dot awards, products submitted from 60 countries were assessed in 51 competition categories.

The jury members granted the award based on the four qualities of good design as well as the respective socio-cultural background, professional focus and design expertise. Products were not judged in competition with one another but on their individual

For more than 60 years, the Red Dot Award has rewarded innovative design in the Product Design, Communication Design and Design Concept categories.

Once a year, the products, communications projects, design concepts and prototypes submitted are appraised by an international jury comprising recognised experts from different specialist fields.
