ONLY a month since launching the latest updated, fourth-generation A3 Sportback and Saloon in the UK, Audi has added new entry-level variants, bringing the starting price of the new range down to under £30K.

Fitted with a 116PS, one-litre petrol engine the new A3 30 TFSI models start from £28,920 for the Sportback versions and £29,495 for the four-door saloon and come with a choice of either a six-speed manual or seven-speed S-tronic gearbox, the latter adding £1,550 to the asking price.

They're available in Sport and S-Line trim levels, both of which have been enhanced as part of the A3's latest upgrade.
