SUBARU is returning to the Motability Scheme which helps those in receipt of certain benefits to get mobile.

Available from Subaru dealers across the UK, the Subaru Forester and Subaru Outback are now available on the scheme with an advance payment of £3,749.

The new Subaru Crosstrek, which went on sale in early 2024 will also be joining the scheme soon with prices yet to be confirmed.

Alex Sheward, national sales manager of Subaru (UK) Ltd said: "We are delighted to be back on board and part of the Motability Scheme. Not only does this offer customers on the scheme more vehicle choices, especially for those prioritising all-wheel drive, but this also provides our Subaru dealers with incremental sales and aftersales opportunities with this additional consumer channel."

James Douglas, manufacturer and network partnership director for Motability Operations said: "We know the Motability Scheme is life-changing for our 760,000 customers across the UK. That's why we are so committed to delivering the best value and choice of vehicles for them."

He continued: "We are pleased to once again be working with Subaru (UK) Ltd, so we can increase the range of vehicles available on the Scheme and suit all our customers' needs."

All Subaru Outback and Forester models benefit from high levels of safety equipment, driver support systems, and permanent all-wheel-drive, providing drivers with confidence and reassurance, no matter the conditions.

These provide added protection for its occupants in the event of any impact and assist the driver when making manoeuvres in restricted areas.

The Motability Scheme is available to those who receive the higher rate of Personal Independence Payments, the higher rate of Disability Living Allowance and for military veterans who qualify for the Armed Forces Independence Payment and those who receive the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement.
