IF you're looking for the best customer service when choosing a new car, look no further than your local Kia dealer.
That's according to one of the UK's leading consumer organisations, the Institute of Customer Service, which has ranked Kia and its dealers in first place in the automotive sector of the latest UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI).
With 81.4 points out of 100, Kia was ranked considerably higher than the automotive sector average of 78 points, further highlighting the brand's dedication to providing excellent customer experiences. The average across all UK industry sectors was 75.8 points.
In the key measurement of a brand's customer loyalty and satisfaction - indicating how likely a customer is to recommend a brand to friends and family - Kia scored the highest of any volume automotive brand with 43.9 points compared with the automotive sector average of 28.4 points,
According to the Customer Satisfaction Index, Kia customers also experienced fewer problems than any other volume car brand, with only 7.2 per cent against an automotive sector average of 12.4 per cent.
Kia has a long history of customer service excellence with high ratings on both Feefo and Reputation. Feefo - one of the world's largest verified reviews platforms - scored Kia 4.8 and 4.7 out of five for product and service respectively, while the brand's score on Reputation, which measures overall review ratings is 765 - considerably higher than the 648 industry average.
Kia was awarded the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for the first time in January 2023. In October 2022, Kia topped the top UK car brand list by Reputation.com in its Automotive Reputation Report.
