ONE of the world's most revered fashion houses has teamed up with Fiat to produce a very special version of the 500e electric city car in celebration of the car maker's milestone 125 anniversary.
In an Italian tour-de-force, the partnership with catwalk superbrand Giorgio Armani has, according to Fiat, created "what might be the finest expression of ‘Made in Italy' on 4 wheels."
The 500e Giorgio Armani is, says Fiat, a car to be worn not driven, and will only be available as a hatchback in two exclusive colours which have been specially created for the new edition. Among the standout features of the exterior are the wheels, which were exclusively designed to represent the Armani logo.
The interior showcases a meticulous level of craftsmanship, with chevron stitching and three-dimensional patterns on the central seat inserts. The Armani logo features on the seats, while the Italian stylist's signature also appears on the dashboard, the interior of the door and the rear window.
The car includes full LED headlamps and a glass roof. When it comes to technology, there's a premium JBL audio system, seven-inch TFT Display, a 10.25" touch screen with navigation, DAB Radio and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
Power is provided by an 87kW, 118hp electric motor with a range of up to 199 miles on the WLTP combined cycle. In addition, it is equipped with advanced ADAS technologies as part of a Level 2 assisted driving system.
Order books for the 500e Giorgio Armani, will open later in 2024 when prices will be announced ahead of first UK deliveries in early 2025.
