VOLVO is extending its EX30 range with the introduction of a new entry-level Core specification, making the fully electric small SUV more affordable.
Joining the established Plus and Ultra grades in the line-up, the new EX30 Core is available with two powertrains - Single Motor, with a driving range of up to 209 miles, and Single Motor Extended Range, capable of up to 295 miles.
On-the-road prices are £32,850 for the Single Motor version and £37,050 for the Single Motor Extended Range.
Standard features including a rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, automatic LED headlights with active high beam and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The vehicle's 12.3-inch touchscreen system comes with Google built in, while a dashboard-mounted soundbar is also fitted.
On Single Motor Extended Range versions, the climate control system also uses an energy-saving heat pump, helping optimise the car's power usage and driving range.
Prices are £32,850 for the Single Motor version and £37,050 for the Single Motor Extended Range with first deliveries expected in early 2025.
Meanwhile Volvo is also upgrading its seven-seat XC90 large SUV range.
New Plus Edition and Ultra Edition trim levels replace the current Plus and Ultra grades respectively with the Plus Edition coming with perforated Nappa leather upholstery with ventilation for the front seats, tinted windows and 21-inch alloy wheels replacing the previous 20-inch wheels.
Both new specifications are available with the B5 petrol and T8 petrol-electric plug-in hybrid powertrains, with prices from £69,425. First deliveries are due this autumn.
