HYUNDAI has announced pricing and specification for the Inster Cross, the all-new EV's distinct, adventurous variant.

Hyundai's first small SUV EV was revealed in June 2024, with pricing and specification for the 01 and 02 trim levels announced in October.

The introduction of the Inster Cross brings outdoor-focused interior and exterior design to the small EV and it will be priced from £28,745.

A 49kWh battery is standard, providing a maximum power output of 115ps and up to 223 miles on a single charge. Top speed is 93mph and the Cross has a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 10.6 seconds.

Charging time to 80 per cent capacity is 30 minutes while a charge at home will take 4hr 35minutes.

As with the Inster 01 and 02 models, a battery heating system and high-efficiency heat pump is fitted as standard, to both optimise range and charging times.

The Inster Cross comes with an electric glass sunroof, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), Blind Spot View Monitor (BVM), Surround View Monitor (SVM), eCall, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA 1.5) - car, pedestrian, cycle and junction - Highway Drive Assist (HDA 1.5), Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Follow Assist (LFA), Parking Collision Avoidance Assist - reverse (PCA-R), front and rear parking sensors with rear camera and parking guidance system, Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with stop and go function, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen display with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluelink connected car services, front and rear USB-C charging ports and a wireless phone charging pad.
