SMARThas launched a hot version of the new smart #5 with a new Brabus model.

The company says it is built for those who dare to stand out and the smart #5 reimagines what it means to drive fully electric.

Delivering up to 645ps of power and a responsive all-wheel drive system it has a launch mode that enables maximum acceleration, propelling the SUV from 0 to 62mph in 3.8 seconds.

Built on an 800-volt platform, the smart #5 Brabus supports ultra-fast DC charging of up to 400kW, allowing the 100-kWh battery to charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 18 minutes under optimal conditions.

With a range of up to 335 miles it features a Brabus driving mode delivers simulated engine sounds.

Visually, the smart #5 Brabus stands out with its unmistakable 21-inch Monoblock Z wheels, distinctive red brake calipers, and a refined, sporty exterior.

Brabus branding and design elements further highlight its performance DNA, underlining the heritage of the German luxury brand.

Inside, the smart #5 Brabus has microfibre seats featuring DINAMICA accents with heated rear and ventilated front seats, while an Alcantara steering wheel with illuminated Brabus lettering adds to a luxury feel.

There's also a panoramic halo roof, microfibre roof lining, sports pedals and Ambient Light+ lighting with 256 colour options.

The smart #5 Brabus is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an intuitive infotainment system with dual 13-inch OLED displays for the driver and front passenger.

For more than two decades, smart and BRABUS have collaborated and the #5 Brabus will be available to order for UK customers by the end of 2025. Pricing will be announced in due course.
