ASTON MARTIN's bespoke brigade have been beavering away to bring a spot of Florida sunshine to a very special, one-of-a-kind version of the DB12 Volante open-top tourer.
The idea came from Aston's dealers in Palm Beach, Florida, who commissioned the company's Q by Aston Martin bespoke service to blend renowned British craftsmanship with Palm Beach-inspired design themes.
The result is a one-off supercar which incorporates unique patterns and materials including an exclusive ocean blue frosted glass paint job, bespoke palm-leaf motifs incorporated throughout, palm-inspired embroidery, which extends to the centre armrest and door-sill panels; light olive ash wood trim throughout, specifically chosen to emulate the rich texture of palm wood.
With a nod to the coastal location, the vehicle has Palm Beach's latitude and longitude coordinates embossed onto the leather dashboard. Diagonally book-matched veneers on the rear of the front seats mimic the palm motif and include metal inlays engraved with Palm Beach.
Aston reckons that the Palm Beach special is testament to the exceptional bespoke skills of the in-house design and craftspeople at Q by Aston Martin.
"The possibilities are endless from the dedicated team," says the company, "ensuring no request is too ambitious."
