A NEW Audi Q3 will be on sale in July with prices starting from £38,300.
The 11 model line up will top out from £52,450 for a TFSI quattro 265ps in Edition 1specification.
The car will be available in Audi's familiar Sport, S line, and Edition 1 trims and in its third generation it will be powered by a choice of three engines.
The entry-level model in the Audi Q3 family is theQ3 SUV TFSI 150ps, a four-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology and standard seven-speed S tronic.
It delivers 150ps of power and its highlight is the cylinder-on-demand system, which temporarily shuts down the second and third cylinders at low and medium loads.
To be introduced later in the year and positioned above the entry-level unit is theAudi Q3 SUV TFSI quattro 204ps, which develops 320Nm of torque.
The most powerful of the combustion engines is theAudi Q3 SUV TFSI quattro 265ps with quattro drive and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with the seven-speed S tronic. It delivers 265PS and 400Nm of torque to all four wheels.
TheAudi Q3 SUV TDI 150psis particularly suitable for driving long distances and is front-wheel drive with a seven-speed S tronic as standard.
Prices start from £38,300 for the TFSI, £40,000 for the TDI, and £45,800 for e-hybrid models.
The plug-in hybrid is more powerful and more efficient than ever before. In combination with the electric motor (115ps and 330 Nm torque), theAudi Q3 SUVe-hybridoffers a total system output of 272ps and 400Nm of system torque.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Audi Q3 has an even more emotional design. The wide Singleframe and the sleekly tapered headlights are fully integrated into the aerodynamic concept.
Viewed from the side, a horizontal shoulder line between the headlights and rear lights visually divides the car into two parts, creating a distribution of light and shadow.
The rear section has digital OLED rear lights (optional on Edition 1), complemented by a continuous LED light strip and illuminated Audi rings which is standard on S line and above.
This level of lighting technology offered in the new Audi Q3 is available for the first time in the Audi compact segment.
Inside, the gear selector has become a steering wheel mounted lever while the car has retained a panoramic display with 11.9-inch instrument cluster and 12.8-inch MMI touch display.
The car has a 488-litre boot expanding to 1,386 litres with the rear seats folded.
Audi is manufacturing the new generation vehicle jointly at its plants in Gyor, Hungary, and lngolstadt, Germany.
