GWM UK has announced the upcoming launch of its GWM POER300 double-cab pick-up truck.
Scheduled to arrive in UK dealerships from mid-September 2025, the GWM POER300 (pronounced "power") will join the pick-up segment.
The POER300 double-cab pick-up will be powered by GWM's 2.4-litre turboâdiesel engine, delivering 183ps of power and 480â¯Nm of torque.
It will return 32.7mpg on a combined cycle and is paired with a new nine-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4×4 system with low-range capability.
The POER300 has a braked towing capacity of 3,500kg and can carry a payload of 1,000kg, ensuring the vehicle is capable of towing livestock trailers, generators, heavy equipment or a caravan
The GWM POER300 features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This sits alongside a 7.0-inch digital driver's display and wireless charging area for a mobile device.
The vehicle offers multiple intelligent all-terrain modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand), and an electronically activated rear differential lock (standard), for enhanced off-road capability.
The GWM POER300 will have an off-road approach angle of 27 degrees, departure angle of 25 degrees and a 230mm ground clearance.
GWM UK will offer a three-tier trim range pf Lux, Ultra and Vanta models with the latter coming with a a blacked-out exterior trim, wheel arches and black alloy wheels.
All variants carry a five-year/125,000-mile warranty.
