KIA has announced pricing for its new K4 and facelifted Stonic which will be arriving in the next few months.

The six model K4 range will be priced from £25,995 while the new-look Stonic will start from £21,795.

The petrol-engine powered K4 hatchback will be sold alongside the fully electric Kia EV4 range and XCeed crossover while the Stonic compact SUV will be powered by a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol enginein all models.

The K4 is available in a choice of three different specification levels - ‘Pure', ‘GT-Line' and ‘GT-Line S' with the top range 1.6-litre T-GDi version which develops 177bhp and comes with a DCT gearbox costs from £36,195.

While the Pure K4 has a 1.0-litre engine developing 113bhp which is also available in the two GT-Line versions, the higher grade K4 has the 1.6-litre option which replaces the manual-only 1.0-litre with a seven-speed DCT transmission.

The 1.0-litre engine gives the K4 a 0-to-62mph acceleration of 12.2 seconds or 12.3 seconds in the DCT on to a top speed of 115mph.

The more powerful 1.6-litre T-GDi produces 147bhp and results in a 0-to-62mph acceleration of 9.1 seconds and a top speed of 128mph.

GT-Line models are priced from £29,995 and £31,295 for the 1.6-litre while GT-Line S versions start from £33,995.

All K4 cars have LED lights, satellite navigation via a 12.3-inch display and a three-screen dashboard layout.

Boot space ranges from 438 litres to 1,217 litres and 328 to 1,107 litres on mild hybrid versions.

The new Stonic meanwhile gets a major exterior and interior redesign, bringing it in line with Kia's latest electric and petrol models.

Again it is offered in Pure, GT-Line and GT-Line S specifications with prices starting from £24,595 in GT-Line trim and £28,295 in top GT-Line S versions.

The 1.0-litre engine enables the new Stonic to accelerate from 0-62mph in 11 seconds or 12.1 seconds for the DCT. Top speed is 111mph.

All Stonics are front-wheel drive and mild hybrid versions can accelerate from 0-62mph in 10.7 seconds or 10.8 seconds (DCT), with a slightly higher top speed of 113mph.

Boot capacity is 352 litres extending to 1,155 litres with the rear seats folded.
