THE Vauxhall Frontera is now available in top-spec Ultimate trim, in keeping with the rest of the Vauxhall line-up.
The newFrontera Ultimateis available with a choice of powertrains - two fully electric versions, including the Frontera Electric 44kWh, as well as the recently announcedFrontera Electric Extended Range, with a larger 54kWh battery offering up to 251 miles on a single charge.
The Frontera Ultimate is also available as a Hybrid with either 110ps or 145ps, enabling fully electric driving for up to around half a mile or up to 50 per cent of the time in urban driving without the need to plug in.
Measuring 4,385mm in length, the Frontera sits between the new Mokka (4,150mm) and Grandland (4,650mm) in Vauxhall's refreshed SUV line-up.
The Frontera offers class-leading boot space of up to1,600 litreswith the rear seats folded - greater than the Astra Sports Tourer Electric at 1,596 litres.
Inside, all models featureVauxhall's Pure Panel cockpitwith dual 10-inch widescreen displays, a new steering wheel design and physical buttons for key functions. Satellite navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and natural voice recognition come as standard.
Entry-level Design trimprovides 16-inch black steel wheels, wheel arch cladding, black skid plates and body-colour bumpers.
There's also driver assistance features, including rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert and cruise control with speed limiter.
Design models can be further enhanced with the optional Design Styling Pack, which adds a white roof, roof rails and 16-inch white steel wheels.
Above the Design specification, the GS trimcomes with aerodynamic 17-inch alloy wheels, high-gloss black door mirrors, silver skid plates, tinted rear windows and LED taillights. Inside, GS models include Intelli-Seat front seats with a tailbone pressure-relief slot, electronic climate control, blind spot alert, front parking sensors and an electrochromatic rear-view mirror.
At the top of the range, the newUltimate trimenhances comfort and practicality withheated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a heated windscreen, LED fog lamps and roof rails with a 240kg load capacity.
The Frontera Ultimate starts from £27,195 for the Electric 44kWh version (£25,695 after the ECG), with customers able to opt for the Extended Range version for £30,695 (£29,195 after the ECG).
The Vauxhall Frontera Electric range starts from £23,995 (£22,495 after the ECG).
As with all Vauxhall electric models, the Frontera Electric benefits from the Electric All In offer, which includes eight years of roadside assistance (including mobile charging recovery), an eight-year/100,000 miles battery warranty and £500 towards a home wallbox or a choice of public charging options.
The Frontera Ultimate Hybrid starts from £28,055 for the 110ps version, rising to £29,565 for the 136ps model. The Frontera Hybrid range starts from £24,255.
