THE new all-electric Alpine A390 will be priced from £61,390 on-the-road when order books officially open in the UK in early 2026, with first customer deliveries of the sport fastback beginning in spring.

The second model in Alpine's fully electric Dream Garage - following the Car of the Year-winning A290 - the A390 brings the brand's DNA into an entirely new segment, delivering the agility and emotion of a sports car with the everyday versatility of a five-seat fastback.

Three versions will be available from launch, each built around Alpine's all-new optimised electric architecture.

The GT develops 400ps and accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds, while the more powerful GTS produces 470ps and up to 824Nm of torque for a 0-62mph time of just 3.9 seconds.

The Premiere Edition, based on the GT, sits between the two as a high-spec model limited to 390 examples.

All models feature Alpine's Active Torque Vectoring system, made possible by placing two independent motors on the rear axle, giving the A390 the ability to control torque at each wheel.

Alpine claims the result is exceptional agility, balance and responsiveness, with the development team directly benchmarking its behaviour against the lighter Alpine A110 to ensure a driving experience centred on feel rather than software.

The A390's high-performance 89kWh battery delivers up to 345 miles of range.

Charging performance has been optimised for real-world use, with DC charging of up to 190kW allowing a 15-80 per cent charge in around 25 minutes.

An 11kW AC bidirectional charger is standard, with a 22kW unit available as an option and fitted as standard to the Premiere Edition.

Inside, the A390 introduces Alpine's new feel@one cockpit with a strong focus on driver engagement.

Two high-definition screens - a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 12-inch central display - integrate Alpine-specific graphics, Google built-in services, an EV route planner and over-the-air updates.

Despite its performance focus, A390 remains practical, offering seating for five and a 532-litre boot with an optional double floor.

Priced from £61,390, theA390 GTstarts the range and features adaptive headlights with LED MATRIX Vision technology, a body-coloured roof, power tailgate, and a 11kW three-phase AC charger with bidirectional charging.
