THE new MG4 EV Urban has arrived in the UK and the original,MG4 EV returns with stronger technology, enhanced cabin quality, performance and driving range.

The new and extended choice of MG4 EV models means customers can drive everything from the efficient, super-spacious andcompetitively-priced MG4 EV Urban Comfort right through to the most potent edition of the performance-focussed MG4 EV XPOWER.

The MG4 Urban EV delivers affordable electric driving with theComfort Standard Rangestarts from just £23,495 whilst theComfort Long Rangeis priced at £25,495. The MG4 EV Urban range is completed with the Premium Long Range,available from £27,995.

The 2026 MG4 EV starts with thePremium LongRangewhich is available from £29,995 - a £2,750 reduction from the outgoing model.

ThePremium Extended Range, priced from £32,995 delivers an improved 338 miles of range from a single charge (WLTP combined) making it the lowest priced car with the longest range in the UK today.

Completing the picture is the electrifyingMG4 EV XPOWERwhich at £33,995 is still pound for pound the fastest accelerating car you can buy in the UK.

Both the MG4 Urban EV and MG4 EV are supported by a seven-year/80,000 miles warranty, an extensive UK dealer network as well as MG Assistance.

The MG4 EV Urban offers 30 storage spaces through the cabin and with the rear seats in place there's 479 litres of boot space plus a further 98 litres in a recessed area below the boot floor. With the rear seats folded there is an overall total of 1,364 litres of space available.

The MG4 EV Urban features a dual-screen layout with an elegant 12.8-inch HD touchscreen and seven-inch HD Driver Display. MG's smartphone connectivity solution - iSMART - is also standard as is wireless connectivity for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Wireless charging and Online Apps (Tik Tok, YouTube, Spotify and Amazon Music) are offered on the Premium Long Range.

The car also features physical controls for air conditioning and media functions and the improved MG Pilot now offers 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Using rapid public charging the 43kWh battery can achieve a 10-80 per cent charge in just 28 minutes and the larger 54kWh battery in 30 minutes. The MG4 EV Urban also features an advanced heat pump as standard which greatly improves its efficiency in colder weather conditions.

The MG4 EV Urban offers five drive modes to meet the driver's personalised requirements and adapt to road and weather conditions. Snow, ECO, Standard, Sport and Custom modes are available. Custom lets the driver tailor power, steering and pedal response for a personalised drive.

The MG4 EV Urban offers a different exterior appearance to the MG4 EV with MG's designers creating smoother lines and surfaces.

At the front there are slim LED headlights with the turn signal and daytime running lights integrated into the overall design. The signature split at the bottom of the dark grille offers a sporting look and is inspired by the MG Cyberster.

The MG4 EV is further strengthened with a battery of improvements and theMG4 EV Premium Long Rangeutilises a 64kWh battery offering mated to a 187bhp electric motor, offering 280 miles of electric motoring with a rapid charging time (10-80 per cent) of just 25 minutes. Performance from the single, RWD motor remains engaging with 0-62mph achieved in 7.5 seconds.

ThePremium Extended Rangeis well able to meet the demands of drivers regularly undertaking longer journeys, featuring a larger 77kWh battery with a potential range of 338 miles. With an uprated 241bhp of power, the Premium Extended Range delivers a sharp 0-62mph sprint time of 6.2 seconds.

The MG4 EV XPOWERis there for the driving enthusiast. This dual motor, AWD MG can sprint from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, has a maximum power output of 429bhp and 600Nm of torque.
