NEW entry-level powertrains,â¯improved interior designâ¯and an expanded Black Edition are coming to the Volvo EX30.

The EX30â¯willâ¯alsoâ¯beâ¯available with Vehicle-to-Load functionality, allowing the car to act as aâ¯powerbankâ¯and supply energy to other devices and appliances.

In addition, forthcoming software updates will introduce a more intuitive user experience.â¯Several ofâ¯theâ¯featuresâ¯will also be available toâ¯currentâ¯EX30 drivers,â¯free of charge, viaâ¯over-the-air software updates.

The EX30 Cross Countryâ¯range is also expanding, with theâ¯addition ofâ¯aâ¯Plus trim level andâ¯aâ¯more efficient single-motorâ¯option.â¯

The Volvo EX30 comes with a newâ¯powertrain that delivers 150ps with a 51kWh batteryâ¯andâ¯more than 200 miles ofâ¯range.

A larger 69kWh battery forâ¯upâ¯to 297 of miles range is also available.

The EX30 is hardware-readyâ¯to offerâ¯Vehicle-to-Load, a technology that allows customers toâ¯storeâ¯energyâ¯in the battery of their electric Volvoâ¯and use itâ¯later.

Thisâ¯functionâ¯canâ¯transformâ¯theâ¯EX30â¯into a powerbankâ¯for chargingâ¯other electrical devices, like anâ¯electric bicycle, or to power appliances such as electrical tools, sound systemsâ¯andâ¯camping gear. All you need is an adapter that connects your car with the appliance.

Theâ¯addition of V2L andâ¯a newâ¯UX set upâ¯are planned toâ¯be providedâ¯through over-the-air software updates duringâ¯summerâ¯to new and existingâ¯EX30 customers.â¯

Theâ¯EX30â¯nowâ¯alsoâ¯introduces twoâ¯additionalâ¯premium interior specifications.

A ‘Harvest' interior offers aâ¯warmâ¯light-tonedâ¯aesthetic said to beâ¯inspired by lateâ¯Scandinavian summer evenings. Itâ¯includesâ¯light-coloured woven recycled textileâ¯upholstery,â¯subtly contrasting Nordicoâ¯upholstery made from recycled material such as PET bottles, dark flax decor, andâ¯aâ¯black headlining.

A ‘Black' interior comes in aâ¯deep-black shade,â¯where theâ¯smoothâ¯Nordico upholstery with slightly contrasting seamsâ¯is paired withâ¯natural,â¯dark flax décor.

Theâ¯EX30â¯Black Editionâ¯is nowâ¯alsoâ¯available withâ¯a new ‘Black' interior.â¯In addition, three exterior colours can beâ¯specified: Onyx Black,â¯Vapour Greyâ¯andâ¯Crystal White.â¯â¯
