MERCEDES-Benz is ushering in a new era withthe new electric VLE.
As the first vehicle to be built on the newly developed modular, flexible and scalable Van Architecture, the result is a completely redefined grand limousine.
It benefits from the intelligent Mercedes-Benz Operating System.
The VLE combines the best of two worlds - the driving comfort and handling of a limousine with the spaciousness, versatility and flexibility of an MPV.
Thanks to its efficiency, new 800-volt technology and high-performance charging, the VLE is a fit for every journey.
The VLE redefines the comfort and versatility of grand space for up to eight people. With new AIRMATIC with level control and rear-axle steering makes the VLE can navigate narrow lanes and multi-storey car parks with ease.

Shaped by our pioneering spirit, it redefines the notion of space and comfort, and adds a game-changing level of versatility and innovation. It also offers a class-leading range of more than 700 km. The VLE is the first model to be built on the new Van Architecture, designed to meet a wide range of customer needs and adapt to any lifestyle," said Ola Kallenius, chairman of the board of management,Mercedes-Benz Group.
On long journeys the VLE can be recharged for a range of up to around 220 miles thanks to 800-volt technology and a new battery with a usable energy content of 115 kWh.
It has three screens behind a large glass surface - a 10.25âinch driver display, a 14âinch central display, and a 14âinch screen for the front passenger.
While the driver benefits from clear, focused information, the front passenger can enjoy a personalised entertainment experience - such as video streaming, gaming or apps.
