THE Skoda Elroq and Enyaq rank second and seventh respectively among Europe's best-selling electric vehicles in 2025 and they have just been updated with a scheduled rollout in the UK at the end of June.

For the upcoming model year, the Elroq and Enyaq models feature a modernised Android-based infotainment system for the first time, bringing a new look and feel, a redesigned home screen, grid layout, favourites and search function as well as enhanced personalisation options for an improved, more intuitive experience.

The next-generation infotainment concept forms part of an upgraded onboard platform introduced with the latest production run, making these advancements exclusive to newly produced vehicles.

For the first time, Skoda vehicles will also feature a digital key. Once the phone has been paired with the vehicle and set up in the MySkoda app, users can lock, unlock, and start the vehicle with their smartphone.

TheMySkoda app now provides driving data, including energy consumption, complementing charging overview and history. The Laura digital companion supports EV route planning by combining various Google POI categories - such as restaurants, cafés, hotels, supermarkets or tourist attractions - with the necessary charging stopovers.

Vehicle-to-Load enables the vehicle to power external devices connected via a charging-port adapter or a 230 V luggage-compartment socket - for camping equipment, power tools or e-bikes while enhanced one-pedal driving now offers two recuperation levels for regenerative braking in B mode, allowing deceleration to a complete standstill when the accelerator pedal is released. The levels are set via the infotainment system or the steering wheel paddles.

Model year changes are bringing a frunk to the Elroq and Enyaq with a capacity of 21 litres under the bonnet which will be equipped with gas struts for easier access.
