SKODA is expanding its best-selling Karoq lineup with a new, range-topping Black Edition model.

Introduced to celebrate the production of the millionth Karoq, the new model features the highest level of equipment ever offered in a Karoq.

Available to order from October 1 2026, the new Karoq Black Edition builds on the specification of the current flagship model, the SportLine Edition.

On the outside, the new Black Edition comes with 19-inch Vega black alloy wheels, black roof rails, door mirrors and radiator grille and sports front and rear bumpers. Black Edition buyers also benefit from metallic paint limited to a monochrome palette, a rear diffuser and black Skoda and Karoq lettering on the tailgate.

Inside, the Black Edition is distinguished by Sportline Suite leather seats, a large panoramic glass sunroof and black headlining.

An LED interior light package with Skoda welcome logo, a three-spoke sport multifunction heated leather steering wheel (with paddles for DSG) and aluminium pedals are also fitted as standard.

Heated front and rear seats and Tri-zone climate control ensure that all occupants are able to travel in complete comfort regardless of season, while a CANTON sound system delivers clarity for music lovers.

The Black Edition also delivers when it comes to technology and the driving experience. Full LED Matrix headlights with adaptive front light system, cornering function and poor weather light are fitted as standard, along with a heated windscreen. To ensure that the Black Edition is as engaging to drive as it is to look at, Dynamic chassis control and Progressive steering are both fitted as standard.

The new Karoq Black Edition will be available with four drivetrain choices that include DSG.

Those wanting petrol power can select the 1.5 TSI 150ps engine with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DSG, or a higher output 2.0 TSI 190ps unit that comes with a seven-speed DSG and all-wheel drive as standard.

A range-topping 2.0 TDI 150ps engine with a seven-speed DSG and all-wheel drive is available to customers choosing diesel. All engines offered in the Karoq are from the Volkswagen Group's EVO generation of engines that deliver exceptional efficiency and performance.

Pricing for the new Karoq Black Edition ranges from £39,160 for the 1.5 TSI 150ps manual, up to £46,035 for the 2.0 TDI 150ps DSG 4x4.

First deliveries are expected by the end of the year.
