VOLKSWAGEN Commercial Vehicles has opened UK order books for the Amarok Dark Label Special Edition pick-up.

The Amarok has built a reputation as one of the best all-round pick-ups in the UK - combining off-road capability with a premium interior and on-road refinement.

The roof rails, rear styling bars, side steps, exterior mirrors, bumpers and door handles are all gloss black, as are the X-style front facia, grill insert and skid plate. The 20-inch alloy wheels are a new matte black finish. It is available in metallic black, metallic blue, or metallic grey - all at no extra cost.

Inside, all-black ArtVelours microfleece fabric seats complete the look. This adds to the premium cabin experience, with the 10-inch digital cockpit and 12-inch infotainment system, as well as market-leading safety and assistance technology, making it a comfortable and pleasant space in any environment.

It also comes with practical additions, including a factory-fitted load liner and sliding load cover.

The 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, delivers peak power of 240ps and torque of 600Nm. It offers an impressive payload of over 1,000kg.

The Dark Label Special Edition has always-on 4MOTION all-wheel drive capability and comes with a rear differential lock included as standard.

Prices start from £47,870.

The entire Amarok line-up, including the Dark Label Special Edition, also benefits from Volkswagen's enhanced warranty and service plan, the 5+ Promise, at no extra cost. This comprises five services, three MOTs, a five-year Warranty and five years Roadside Assistance.

The Dark Label Special Edition is the newest addition to the Amarok family - joining the Style, PanAmericana, and Aventura variants.
